A little bit about me.

I'm a queer person, therapist, performing artist, and trainer based in Colorado. My clients, colleagues, and friends describe me as warm, thoughtful, and able to hold space for even the most difficult conversations and emotions. As a therapist with my own experience of mental health challenges, marginalization, and work on dismantling harmful systems - including within myself - I bring deep compassion and hope to the therapy room.

Some of my most strongly held values are connectedness, meaning, and curiosity. These values inform my personal and professional choices every day. Clients will find that I encourage them to find depth and breadth of connection in their communities and families (bio or chosen) outside of the therapy room. I work with folks in search of meaning, rather than fleeting happiness or false positivity, and hold a deep and fierce hope for a world in which we can all live safely and well. I have found in my own mental health journey that so much fear and sadness can be addressed with curiosity, and I bring this value to the way I approach clients and the circumstances that lead them to therapy.

I live in Denver, Colorado with my partner and our two cats (not to mention a small jungle’s worth of plants). I travel fairly often to perform or teach workshops, and sometimes just because I love to experience new places. I’m so grateful for the way that my virtual practice allows me to be in community with folks all over the world while still being present for my clients.
